Rickaby Estate

Originally designed in 1955 esteemed modernist architect Russell Jack — founding partner of Allen, Jack + Cottier — Rickaby stands as a rare, handcrafted jewel of mid-century architecture. Located in the leafy suburbs northwest of Sydney, it’s nestled among other historic homes.

The home has been updated with a fresh, contemporary look that takes full advantage of the stunning panoramic views of the Blue Mountains. Every finish has been thoughtfully selected, with materials sourced internationally from artisans around the world, blending exceptional quality with local craftsmanship. Grounded in the timeless principles of mid-century modernism — think clean lines, simplicity, and a strong connection to nature.

Geostone Tulum in an exposed finish was selected for the driveway and welcoming area. Tulum features fresh white stones paired with bold blacks, which have create a high-contrast dynamic, elevating the architecture of the home.
